Root infiltration and blockade
You are driven on a couch in prone position through the opening of the computer tomograph. After a first planning picture the therapy begins.
With a probe analgesic drugs are brought directly to the irritated nerves and the local inflammation inhibited, causing an additional pain reduction over a longer period. The procedure is carried out under visual control in the computer tomograph, in order to enable a targeted syringe with the drug (Volon A 40) for maximum therapeutic success.
The painkiller works after a few minutes. The additional cortisone inhibits the nerve inflammation in particular on the decongestant effect and thus the pain over a longer period.
