WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF MRI?

The scan strong magnetic field and radio waves who are used during the MRI are not dangerous for the body. However, it must be ensured that no metal objects come into the vicinity of the device. If you wear, for example, metallic implants or a pacemaker, so great care must be taken. Please advise your doctor definitely out.

Earrings or piercings must always be took off prior to the examination. Also tattoos can cause problems, if they include certain metal-containing paints. If you have any questions with respect to the magnetic field, please talk to your doctor.

Please advise in any case to an existing pregnancy or drug allergies, so a suitable contrast agent for you can be selected.

The narrowness of the magnetic tunnel is perceived by some people as very unpleasant. Please do not hesitate to discuss this with your doctor so that he may give you a corresponding sedative if needed.
